The course entitled “INTELLIGENCE AWARENESS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT,” is a brief and simplistic introduction into the concept of the use of intelligence in the law enforcement environment. It is designed to introduce participants to what intelligence is and how it can be used in their specific areas of operation, from an awareness perspective.

• To identify the levels, types and sources of intelligence
• To understand what is intelligence awareness
• To explore the importance of Community Policing in intelligence awareness
