CARICOM IMPACS recognises 12 February as an important opportunity to reaffirm itscommitment to regional security and the prevention of violent extremism in theCaribbean. This observance aligns with the UN framework on countering terrorism andviolent extremism, emphasising a whole-of-society approach to addressing the rootcauses of radicalization. Together, we stand united for a safer, more secure Caribbean.
