The ‘Road Traffic Act and Regulations Training Conference 2023’ is the initial introduction of the repeals, savings and transitions of the Road Traffic Act 1938 to the members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the precursor to the further trainings that will occur resulting from its implementation in February 2023. The collaboration among the various Branches and Divisions of the Jamaica Constabulary Force: National Police College, Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch and the Legal Services Division to deliberate the areas of focus pertinent in ensuring law enforcement personnel are adequately knowledgeable of the Act and its Regulations. In addition, we intend on ensuring participants are fully capable of executing their operational duties relative to traffic control and enforcement.
