Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force Academy

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force Academy (RSVGPFA) is located on a high hill adjacent to the President's residence. The Academy is a rectangular shaped two story compound with one of the wings functioning as residential housing for cadets, an administrative wing, a gym, and other functional areas.  The compound surrounds a central area used for drill instruction or as a soccer field. 

The RSVGPF maintain two paramilitary forces the Special Services Unit and the Coast Guard, both units are responsible for internal security. Defence is the responsibility of RSS located in Barbados.^] There is also a non-policing organization under the command of the RSVGPF the Fire Brigade.
