There are two common reasons for this behavior:
A) The meeting or training has been created but the user has not been enrolled in the meeting or training.
- To remedy the first condition log in as a Content Contributor or Site Administrator and select the meeting or training that contains the room you wish for the user to join.
- Select Users>Enrolled users
- Click Enrol users
- Select the user or users that you wish to join the course
- Click on the course title in the breadcrumb trail at the top of the page, or select the course by selecting Meetings or Trainings in the navigation bar on the left side of the page.
- Have the user attempt to connect to the room again.
B) The moderator must join the room before the students may join.
- To remedy the first condition log in as a Content Contributor or Site Administrator and select the meeting or training that contains the room you wish for the user to join.
- Select Course Administration>Turn editing on from the navigation bar
- For the CBSI-Connect room in question and select Edit>Edit Settings
- Uncheck Students must wait until a moderator joins
- Select either Save and return to course or Save and display
- Request that the participants attempt to join the room again.
